Natara is currently continuing her education by working towards her Master of Arts in Counseling from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL with a focus on child and adolescent therapy. She is expected to graduate in Fall 2018. Previously, Natara received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Baylor University in Waco, TX where she spent her time volunteering as a crisis manager at the Advocacy Center. Her role as an advocate was to support the crisis hotline and provide immediate responses to sexual assault victims, meet with each victim at the hospital while being examined by a SANE nurse and provide compassionate emotional support for sexual assault survivors.

Natara specializes in counseling adolescents and adults to help them manage and regulate emotions during life transitioning challenges. She focuses on play and group therapy and works with clients struggling with anger management, anxiety and stress, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, life transitions, and all types of abuse.

Natara strives to create a safe atmosphere in which individuals feel supported to change and grow as they work on bettering themselves. She is dedicated to build strong therapeutic relationships and help individuals develop healthy and practical coping strategies. Her counseling styles focuses on psychodynamic approach and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
